Parent Workshop- The Montessori for the Elementary Aged Child

Join us to learn all about what Montessori education is for the Elementary aged child! This workshop is for current elementary parents, those considering Montessori elementary for their children in the future, or anyone else who wants to learn more about Montessori! We will discuss the shift in development children make when they enter the elementary years and how the Montessori classroom is designed to meet their needs and help them reach their full potential. We will discuss "cosmic education," the cornerstone of the elementary curriculum, and what the elementary school day is like. We will also get our hands on the enticing Montessori materials!

This workshop is open to current DMS parents, prospective parents and the greater Dayton community. The workshop is for adults and babies in arms only .  Please RSVP to the event with the number attending. Free childcare will be provided for currently enrolled students only.  Childcare requires an RSVP with the number of students attending.

Prospective parents are welcome to stay for our Open House event after the workshop to learn more about both our 3-6 year old and elementary programs.
