Families are invited to join the Lower Elementary Class for their celebration of Asia and Oceania. Lower and Upper Elementary Students will preform vocal and drumming pieces and Lower Elementary will present their research about a country.
Students who are performing will stay at school. Families will arrive at 3:45 to enjoy the music performance and then see our research presentations.
Please join us as our oldest students present their Interest Fair Projects. The students have been researching, writing, creating, and preparing for months about a topic of their choice. Come see their boards and projects and hear their speeches. All students, families, and alumni are encouraged to come see their fellow students’ work and to cheer them on.
On Saturday, April 25 9am-12pm, DMS will be participating in the Five Rivers Metro Parks Adopt a Park program again this year to help clean up all the Metro Parks in our area. We have had a lot of fun participating in this day of service as a school group in the past. This year we are signed up to help with mulching in Cox Arboretum. All volunteer should wear appropriate clothes for working in natural areas (work gloves, long pants, sunblock, hats, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes). Volunteers should also bring water. Some tool will be provided, but small rakes would be appreciated if you can bring them. This activity is intended for ages 10 and older, so plan to keep younger children close.
Also join us for a BYO picnic after the work shift.
Please sign the waiver and sign-up sheet in the email sent to families. You can email Lauren at oconnorl867@gmail.com for more information or to sign up.
All current DMS families, new families enrolled for next year, alumni, and their extended families are welcome to volunteer with our group.

Please share with any families who may be interested in our school. Workshops are a great way to get to know our school.
Daycare will be provided free of charge to currently enrolled students only.
